If you are among the lovers of freshly ground coffee, the term "logr ” is certainly nothing new to you.
For those who are unsure or don't know at all, logr (or "soc") is the coffee grounds that remain at the bottom of the mug after drinking. Most of us pour it out or throw it away. But that is a great pity! The components contained in coffee have stimulating effects not only on us, humans, but also on plants. Only these substances absorb a little differently. Moreover, they can also be used in other areas of everyday life.
If you hide the coffee grounds in a container and dry them, you will get a great helper both in the kitchen and in the garden or in the bathroom. Read how and where it can be used!
Cleaning sinks, sinks and dishes
If you don't want to use expensive chemical sands to clean your kitchen, or if you don't have a wire brush handy, coffee grounds are an effective, natural alternative. Just pour it into the sink or basin, add a little water and gently scrub with a sponge or cloth. You can also wash pots, pans or wooden cutting boards and plates in the same way. Coffee log absorbs odors very well, so it is a versatile helper for wooden surfaces.
Coffee grounds as fertilizer
Did you know that by adding coffee grounds to the soil, you will encourage plant growth?
Since coffee contains, in addition to caffeine, a lot of important nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and other minerals, it is an extremely valuable ingredient for clay or substrates. In addition, the coffee grounds attract earthworms, which enrich the soil and the plants will do better. Simply sprinkle the sediment on the soil around the plant or mix it directly with the soil. You can also use it in the spring when transplanting your indoor plants. Simply add the remains of your coffee to the substrate, and your plants will repay you!
Plants can also be protected from pests such as ants, slugs or aphids in the same way. For caterpillars, use diluted coffee grounds and spray them directly onto plant leaves.
ATTENTION: never pour the sediment to the plant in the pot while it is still wet. Always wait for the log to dry before using it. Otherwise, it may happen that the sediment starts to mold in the flower pot and will harm instead of helping.
Rejuvenating coffee peeling
The coffee logr also performs an excellent service in self-care.
It serves as a peeling for hands, feet or problematic areas such as thighs, hips or tummy.
Application is easy. While showering, take a logr, wet the skin and gently massage the skin in circular motions. Just rinse after application. The caffeine in coffee helps to firm the skin and improve the appearance of orange peel.
After application, the skin may seem dry, so it is advisable to treat it with a moisturizing cream.
TIP: Try to improve your peeling by adding coconut or almond oil. The mixture of log and oil will give your skin a sufficient dose of hydration and soften it beautifully. The resulting mixture can also be used as an effective lip peeling, which will help you get rid of dry and chapped lips.
Caffeine against hair loss
We have certainly all encountered this unpleasant problem at least once in our lives. If you too are suffering from hair loss, try a small miracle in the form of coffee sediment.

Before washing your hair, wet your hair with water, take a handful of logar and gently massage it into your scalp for a few minutes. Leave it on for at least 3-5 minutes (it can be longer) and then wash your hair with shampoo. You can mix the logr directly with the shampoo and apply together. Another option is to prepare a simple and very effective hair mask by mixing coffee grounds and coconut or olive oil.
We personally tried this trick for you and our colleagues, and we can really only recommend it.
TIP: If you have a four-legged pet at home, you can do the same with their shampoo. Not only will you increase their protection against difficult insects, but you will also support the quality of the coat.
